We started in 2007, reformed in 2010 as Milwaukee Consulting Group, LLC with the belief that better business outcomes result from seeing and thinking about the work differently. Tools are great, but sustainable improvement results from improving the design of how work is accomplished. Results can come quickly. We are seasoned, successful operations executives who have led this activity as part of our day job. Our methods rely on an integrated approach with people in operational, technical, and leadership roles. Our engagements cover areas as diverse as Engineering, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Project Management. Every implementation is as different as the client, but tied together by underlying principles and approaches. We work within your history, culture, and language to leverage your existing resources for faster, better results and reduced dependence on outside help, including ours.
Our clients range from a $250 billion global organization to an Olympic athlete who created a successful startup and industries from oil, gas, and chemical to sporting goods. Our work and teaching spans 5 continents.
Although we deeply understand Toyota ways and have ties to seasoned Toyota executives (several of our consultants are former Toyota employees), we are adept at translating the principles into other company and country cultures. We don’t wear caps, use Japanese words, have 15 step processes that must be followed or do calisthenics. Our people have deep experience in a wide range of industries and functions, a clear understanding of the principles of improvement, work design and a desire to make organizations and people successful.
